natsukashii aji~
had an early start today.
promised yana - old high school friend, to be at her house for her majlis bertunang by 8.30am. she asked me to be her photographer and i was of course delighted to do it ;-)
tp left the house pon dah 8.15am..pastu map plak hilang terpakse mintak yana sms kan direction. in 45 mins selamat sampai to the location in puncak alam.
anyway, the majlis started at 10.30 as planned, and by 12.30 everything settled. for the 2nd time this month tgk style org perak bertunang. ade tepak sirih bagai..yg ni lagi lah sbb dua2 side belah utara byk lagi barang2 lain yg ber-tekat <-- betul ke eja ni? alas dulang, seprah etc.
kalau belah johor rase2 nye takde barang2 tu..dan tak penah nampak batang hidung tepak sireh laa kat umah makwe(=nenek) ... time bertunang pon both sides ada sireh junjung. satu rendah, satu tinggi tp tak sure la which is which. dah lama tak tgk org johor bertunang~
nway, mcm biase lps settle everything dijamu dgn jamuan mkn yg mmg best. well catering food mcm biase lah but yg special, yana's father baru balik from sabah so the had this home made sambal udang - udang bawak balik dr tawau tu- fresh mcm baru beli kat pasar pagi td serius.
balik siap dibekalkan ngan kuih 3 jenis. tu pon naseb baik aku berjaya pujuk kakak2 dia utk TIDAK menapaukan nasi dan lauk.
kalau setiap kali gi amek gambar dijamu mkn best2 camni..abes laaaa ~
pastu cam biase la nak balik tu mesti dpt cekelat ferrero roche haha..best2.
if i ever do contract-signing thigie with clients in the future, maybe i shud include a clause that says *clients shall prepare some serious delicious chocolate, dark and bitter preferred as souvenier*

balik singgah selayang mall, konon nak settle pasal pin no lupe. as expected, have to apply for a new card. but yg hampehnye, takleh nak apply. on top of buku akaun, they want surat beranak, and one other document such as bills. dan juga ic, driving license. DAN ye bukan ATAU. Tah pape...so kekyoku, kad baru tak dpt, no pin baru pon tak dpt...end up bershopping , mengabiskan duit kat guardian. naseb baik tak masuk parkson ke etc if not ade possibility shoopping gak. lama tak lama agak berejam gak aaa kat selayang mall. dan aku agak jakun ok. dah lama tak masuk shopping mall ala2 the summit haha.
well at least the parking tak menyakitkan kepala like OU. so agak kompius laa apasal luar selayang mall tu sesak ngan org parking by the roadside? atas byk jerr parking.
balik to rawang, ingat nak layan ulu yam. tp ngantuk nye laaaa mcm dah nak tertido sambil driving. mmg common problem biler drive siang sorg2. siap berenti tido stgh jam kat BHP rawang sbb dah tak thn. end up 6pm baru sampai umah.
so malam...mengurung diri dlm umah sorg2. its been a while laa sejak aku last spend a weekend night sorg2 kat umah mcm ni. best gak. layan tv sambil lipat kain dan menuggu baju dlm w/mc <-- tiru YAM haha.
and thanx to idea from Ma`a, cooked a very simple but delicious dinne. asalnye nak bwat peperoncino cam kat Saizeriya tuh tp end mcm meriah la plak. kebetulah dlm fridge mmg ade asparagus and fresh mushroom. hentam sajalah. siap buat egg-pouch lg as topping. mmg saikou~
so dinner can be good and fast. shud find more easy pasta recipes. kena restart balik diet. cut down on those rice. and MEAT!!!

edisi mengantuk~
uhh..
saya pulang dr bp ke kl hari khamis.
terus tinggal di rumah famili angkat@Dawam sampai hari ni.
jumaat, sabtu & ahad - weekend yg kurang stress dan byk happy.
oh dan byk makan ;-)
kena update story nih.
tp ngantuk....
asal nye mmg semangat nak update mlm ni.
semangat jugak nak masak dinner. siap singgah tesco borong groceries.
tp sampai umah tgk condition umah MasyaAllah...
smlm housemate balik sini tgk tangki bocor..thanks to her its fixed already.
but td blk tgk rumah mcm br pas kena banjir.
so setelah kerahan tenaga sejam dua. rumah kembali siuman la nak duduk.
bilik air pon dah wangi balik.
dinner tah ke mana...ni tgh dok menggigit perut kelaparan ~
so, esokla citer pasal semuanya.
bukan takat citer 3 hari ni.
tp citer dr hari pertama cuti raya cina.
uhh..byk tu.

bye2 bp, hello kl.
without much planning, left bp around noon. sedikit rase bersalah ekceli since ada plan nak masak2 bwk tahlil ke surau. aku nye niat ekceli -ade lah sebab tertentu-ikutkan nak bwk hari biasa sbb aku mmg x plan nak stay till friday, but abah nak buat mlm jumaat sbb ramai org..so ikutkan jelah tho aku tak dpt berewang. pagi2 dah ke pasar beli ayam 7ekor ngan lain2 stuffs...patut nak gerak balik 10am sbb nak reach sg buloh by noon, konon nak rest jap before evening program, but rase bersalah lak nak tinggalkan camtu je so the least i cud do, basuh ayam laaa ape lg..lps tu sera la kat mak n dayang2 to settlekan. gerak around noon...dlm keramaian keta polis n speed traps..sempat jugak sampai around 2.30pm...ngeeeee mintak2laa xde sangkut trap mane...rase cam byk gak peberet spots main laju jek td...dah hway lengang.teptation yg amat. evening program menyusul later-went hiking and shooting broga hill,located in semenyih with amal,iman,pojan,afzan n alan.uhuhhh...details will come up later hopefully with some pics..but for now boleh kata that it was superbly fun.both the hiking and the shooting part.penat nak ma*os laaaa but i was worth it ~12:23 AM

Cuti day-4
cuti day4.... nothing much. apart from attending wddgs over the weekend and having to (again n again)answer to stupid q's from over concerned (read:bz body)old folkes. One thing DOne tho,kepala dAh ringan. almost half llighter tHan before. now neeD to find faster internet connectiOn la. cv tertinggal. hv to try upload from jJobstreet profile. malaz nak prepare from ZERO tho i still hv lOtsss to update. happy holidays alls!!
ok...i`ll be back to where internet is as slow as siput bab* in less than a day. nak kata a few hours pon tak sbb ada byk lg persinggahan ni.
now i`m off to a wedding in gombak- keluar awal sket singgah change tyres n what not first.
mintak2 la ade kedai bukak lg..dan tak ramai org.
kalau sumer org cam aku last minute abeslaa..
then off to pick my 3 sisters. one in segambut, another 2 dah berkumpul kat UM.
then singgah another wddg at 8pm kat UPM. pastu br leh balik selatan. urr but not straight to BP lorr...singgah melaka dulu amek cousin.
tatau la pkl bape sampai umah ni...
silap2 sampai melaka kita zzzzz dulu.

urr...apart from accompanying mak and abah tu weddingssss tomorrow ( ada empat katanye...)

is it the box or what`s inside that matters?
the bear is cute - cant remember when was the last time i bought one. or was given one.but the big red plastic bad that wrapped the gift?
this is like a high scorer in add maths with the lousiest handwriting.
an A++ for the gift.
but a C for the wrapping.
but of course, in the end its the thought that really counts ;-)
work is as usual busy.
had a gotong royong session plak tuh - took 2 of my precious hours.
and i got a call in the evening just a few minutes before the end of office hour.
...
br smlm someone intro me to thie headhunter who`re looking for someone for a position down south.
so today been actually waiting for the call from that bro. tp tak call2.
then suddenly got this call from a totally different head hunter plak.
seriously hv no idea how did these ppl get my numbers.
almost tergeliat lidah nak speak nihongo all the way but the lady seems nice.
and it sounds good - tho i`m still blurr abt the location.
but its for sure not as far as selatan or utara.
at first i thot we cud arrange for an interview next week - since p2 cuti seminggu - but turned out the company pon cuti seminggu.
so will arrange after cny.
problem is...
camne nak cuti neh?

10 things
abt me...1) when on the phone, i`m more comfortable holding the phone (hp especially) with my right hand but listening with my left ear.
2) i dont eat carrot - love the juice tho.
3) i`m not scared of lizards, lipas..even snakes. but i`m hopelessly scared of beetles even the smallest ones.
4) i love limau as in the in-season lokam but i dont like oranges, except the juice of course.
5) i cud text without looking at my hp keypad - normal keypad laaa not quewrty..not yet haha
6) i think i`m a hopeless romantic - or i cud be ;-)
7) most of the time, i read newspapers and mags from the back section.
8) i work my shirt buttons bottom up.
9) i`ve been trying to read the twillight series but hv so far only managed to read 2 pages...in 2 months. zzzzz what a record~~
10) i hate photo editing but i cud spend 6-straight-hours doing it when i (finally) start.

Club 28
i hv joined the club28 ;-)and it was indeed the best birthday ever.
i did not hv much plans.
thursday nite plan to hv dinner with besties had to be postponed due to some unforeseen circumtances.
will defintely have a belated edition later ye girls.
so friday nite..just wanted to hv some dinner with close friends but i only managed to make a date with a few of them. for some reasons, i cudnt find the right way to ask others to come along...
somehow, i wanted them there because they want to be there not because i want to..
so my plan was a dinner at chillis OU with f.anita + flower girl of coz, sheera + flower girl no.2 & dak po*an.
and so after 2 weeks straight of working looonggg hours, yesterday i left the office early enough to see the evening sun, all excited for the dinner.
picked sheera+farisha up from their home and went to pick up f.anita+aleesha la konon ;-)
went around and around the cornet a bit( sesat sket...) and when we finally got to f.anita`s place i noticed some familiar cars parked on the road.
ahaahh...of coz laa i knew sthg was up then.
rupa2nye they planned a suprise bbq dinner party for me last nite ;-)
many others were there..
most were really those i wud want to spend my birthday with. only i was just too complicated to ask.
the food was good, the bbq chicken was superb..cake was yummy we had such a great night.
and most of all, it was the great company of good friends that made it a memorable birthday for me.
i guess i was overjoyed and excited it was a miracle i did not cry there - thank God.
cos knowing myself these days, tears are sooo easy to come out.
but later after i sent sheera+farisha home the tears just come out all the way while i was driving home.
emotions-lagging?? haha
it really struck me that there are people around me who notice the mood-swings and to know that they had the thought of making me happy really touched my heart.
i really am grateful for these wonderful friends and i promise i will be happier person this year and beyond
i cant let them know enough how much it meant to me and it was indeed a greater present than an expensive dinner in town.

last weekend
pengisian weekend lepas..duduk rumah mmg cuma utk tidur shj...
sabtu...pagi2 dah keluar bfast ngan k.iza otw ke taman rimba komanwel kat templer (jln lama rawang -kl)
--> tak jauh la dr tpt tanah runtuh not along ago..konvoi skali with f.a we were the first to arrive...sampai2 dah nampak bersusun paintball marker..dgn marshall2 yg over-friendly (read; gataii). yes, activity is paintball battle with colleagues - of abt 22 people. kurang sket separuh laa than total number of our office. we got there around 10am and only started to play around noon. menunggu org sampai lagi...briefing panjang lebar lagi..pastu test shooting lagi. kat situ jek dah abeh 2 hours haihhh...naseb laa mmg dah freekan the whole moring till evening.
kesimpulannye kami main 2-teams back to bak 4 rounds. dlm hutan yer. as in HUTAN. ngan duri2 semua. rambo style, kamikaze style sumer ade. dptla ole2 2-3 butir kat pinggang hasil tembakan musuh tak berperikemanusiaan~~

kat bawah ni, ada grp photo before start main. semua bersih jek..after main omg, sumer kotor n busuk gell.
it was fun. super fun. the adrenaline rush mmg cool giler. kalaulah paintball is not that expensive a game, mmg bleh main selalu.
saper nak main mmg sgt rcommend main sini. field agak mencabar. tp kalau mcm kitorg beramai-ramai beginners, bleh jek layan~
the evening, dinner with my fav girls + kerol the flower-papa at munakata buffet in life centre KL.
thanx yam (again!) for the treat hehe..muga dimurahkan rezeki selalu ;-)
the unagi and salmon were super-awesome~~

bukan org lain pon. nak kata colleague bleh, adik pada member pon bleh, gang giler amek gambo pon bleh, adik (tak larat nak) angkat pon bleh sbb budak ni dgn suka hati panggil aku mcm adik2 aku panggil.
tak pasal dpt sorg lagi adik laki plak kan..
nway, kalau korg (bebudak aaj) perasan kat blog ani fauzi** pon ade citer pasai adik dia br pas bertunang..haa ni adik dia la ekceli.
kecik je dunia ni kan.
btw ani!! u left without saying good bye daaa...
tak sempat nak salam2 & peluk2.
kemungkinan takkan jumpe dah la nih sampai ko nak gi OZ nanti kan.

anyway, majlis bertunang berjalan dgn lancar.
tak puas la amek gambar sbb cpt sgt settle, plus it was so hot and crowded. lucky ade alan yg cover the other side.
ok lah tu kan, ni br bertunang. simpan la seri korang utk the big day nanti ;-)

camera bag
me n camera bags.
i know its essential, but still havent bought a good one myself...the idea of spending hundreds to buy a bag when i cud use the money to buy other gears instead, is just too difficult to take.
i`ve stopped using the free canon bag cos its so ugly and not practical. am using a sling bag i bought in OZ 5 years agoo instead ;-)
looks better but lacking in the padding department laa..
*kawan2 yg sama2 gi trip OZ dulu mesti ingat that pink printed bag kan? *

blueberry chilled cheesecake
had a makan2 session today after office hour-more like an open table session by the lot of us who were up*raded recently.we just ordered the food from some caterer - or actually k.ty did. yg lain tukang bayo jek~
but i made blueberry chilled cheese cake for the party - i intended to make some cake for last week`s event but i was too busy cudnt get the time. this time k.ty approached to ask if i cud make some, so i thot its a good idea. mmg dah niat nak buat pon so might as well..first try for this recipe actually. thanx to yam ;-) it was actually quite easy la but i had trouble whipping the cream
but anyway the outcome was actually not bad. it i cud improve, it has to be on the firmness..wud be great if the cake cud be cut nicely. but i guess thats the thing about chilled cheese cake.
but nway...no camera inside the office building so had to make do with my phone camera. seriously...this is the only bite i managed to save ;-) will have to make one more time soon for housemate and a couple of people who missed it today.
when you take the time, put the effort and more importantly the thought and feeling into something, it always feel good to see that it`s enjoyed by people.
well at least thats always the case for me.
